If seems as if Blizzard doesn't want me to play again.
I have been having problems trying to access the WoW website and so I have not been able to pay and cannot play at the moment. I will keep trying and hopefully I can log in soon.

Prope, not sure if the problem was resolved, but Blizzard was working on their webservers this past week to make some changes. In particular, they're trying to make it more secure. Part of the work was done on the account management portion of the site.
Hopefully you've managed to get in since then!
